Been a little while, hasn’t it? I just haven’t had much to blog about…

• Most of my “dolly” time has gone for setupping an Etsy store and no, no link yet since I haven’t got anything for sale….yet ;D I’m preparing a little collection of Pukifee/Lati and maybe YO-SD-stuff there and will definitely spam you with the link once it’s ‘officially’ launched. So far Etsy seems good and easy to use, I hope it works out well :3
• Two headless pinky white female doll bodies on my shelf…welcome to the horror cabinet!
• Waiting for our Leeke order, I got two wigs, a royal cadet blue one for uncle K and one in sakura pink for Hilde. I really wish Leeke would sell also wigs in 5.5 size since Enne would surely look fantastic in their green shades ;_; Come on, Leeke, something for Pukifees and Latis too, please?
• Also waiting for these Dollheart shoes since, well, oops, stripes, heels, roses, pink, Meital, oh no, must get…you know, the usual story. I’ve noticed I’ve become quite picky with the doll shoes I’m interested in, no more basic high-heeled pumps or sneakears. I want all kinds of funny details, patterns, decorations and such – and in Meital’s case, the more frill, beads, lace and stuff, the better ;D Luckily – or unfortunately for my wallet – there is always Dollheart who usually hits right at the spot with their designs.
• But not always. I have no idea how something with so much elements I love – stripes, lace, cameos, feathers – can just look so…no. Okay, maybe it’s the hotpants and fishnet stockings on a male doll, I admit. I could buy the set though and split it between my girls, Morri would get the hotpants, stockings and all the other stuff would go to Meital

Alright! The huge ransom for the Finnish Customs has been paid, you don’t want to know, really…oh well, she is here and worth of every penny <3

Those of you who have stalked our local community’s marketplace or IRC with me should already know…Meital’s doll form is changing into this beautiful girl. She’s N-Doll’s new sculpt Aiko, and it was love at the first sight. She looks like a lost little dove, and the most beautiful girl doll I’ve yet seen. Her white skin tone is so delicate, I love the shape of her eyes and those teeth, and the body is a bomb, especially those hands. Am I the only one who thinks those hands look bit like Unoa’s?

I’ve drawn funds from my savings to my main bank account and will order her right after the money has transferred. I’m so excited, it’s very rare for any doll sculpt to hit right in the heart – but this one did! After all Meital is my dearest dolly, and I want her to be the prettiest, fluffiest, silliest little princess full of innocence, never believing that the world is a grim dark place.

So what do you think of new Meital? :3

The photos in this entry are hideous, but I was excited and just wanted to show some new things :3 At least I tried GIMPing them up…

First something I found from Prisma’s toy section I was visiting with some friends *3* It’s supposed to be a jewelry box for kids, but now it’s a sofa for Hilde. I also got some beads and jewelrymaking supplies with it Not bad! Hilde will take over the shelf of the little dollies, because Enne is moving. No, I’m not selling her, she just got herself a new apartment…

Aka Hilde’s first “real” shoot! It was such a pretty day outside, I was supposed to go outside with her but then I felt lazy Anyways, here are some quick snapshots of Hilde, little pigeon girl with lots of guts and temper. Her full name is Hildegard von Taubeholz, by the way.

Since these were taken with my Helios lense, I wanted to get a sort of “vintage” effect while doing the afterediting. Actually I just corrected the white balance and then played with curves a wee bit.
