Today’s sewing, perfecting a pattern. For me Meital will always be the most beautiful BJD girl in the whole world, always *3* She will be even more beautiful once dear jesmotin returns from Japan and will customize her a bit more <3 (And when the Dollmore GO gets here and she’ll get a new wig.)

Aka some of my recent knittings, all these are commissions from friends. Phew, it’s funny though, no matter how much I knit, I still have two big plastic bags of yarns. Why it never ends? And why do I keep buying more? *_*

★ I sold my Heliot head (the body remains) and will purchase a new head for Mirkku. K-doll Kasis shall he be, because that expression is just so cocky, perfect for mr. Sun himself. K-doll comes in Luts White, and Soom and Luts BWs match somewhat, so it should be an okay match. Excited!

★ Also teh little one should come to me soon, I saw her faceup already and boy isn’t the the cutest little bugger you will ever see! I’ve looked for wigs and such for her and decided her colour scheme – it shall be peppermint, green, pink and white. Little peppermint deer, hehe *3*

★ My crew needs new faceups and customizations badly. Oh, and clothes. And everything. Why it never feels that everything is ready?

★ I decided not to buy new dolls until 2010. Yeah, I really did! Why everyone’s laughing? My camera needs an upgrade, I have RL stuffs and uh, I just want to pamper my current dolls.

A little photoshoot I did some days ago but didn’t post this here yet. Nothing grand, I just dragged my tripod near my shelf and took some snapshots – but hey, at least I did a photoshoot! Uncle K has a new Dollga wig, yes, that order finally came *3* This shoot and reading my future hubby’s (I can say this now, can’t I? ) character plans have inspired me to try some writing again, let’s see if I can whip up something tomorrow.

There are some changes happening in my dolly front – one new member, one new face. More about them later.

Ngh, so tired *_* There was a meetup in Oulu for few days, fun times but it’s good to be home as well!

Yesterday there was a dolly meetup in Ainolanpuisto, Oulu, and it was also very fun, one of the best meetups I’ve been for a while. Thankies for the great company *3* The rest of the entry will be pictures:

Okay, not maybe so new, just packages that I finally picked up from our post office.

Camellia Dynasty wingies! I also got a black pair for Morrigan, you’ll see them when she gets back home. (I left her in Illves’ tender faceupping hands because I traded two faceups for Vesuvia’s horns that I technically own). They came with handy elastic “top” with pockets for magnets and for some reason, each pair has little extra bells. I have no idea what they are for

Okay, my petite-sized bear hat prototype didn’t turn out so well because the size was wrong, but luckily I found a suitable user for it – Deen’s Fancyboots Liechen *3* She has the perfect head for it, and beware, now I’m armed with actual measurements, so my next try will be better.

Phew, I made it through the crowds, noise, heat and stuff. I really feel myself old and had troubles recognizing if the little folks did cosplay something or did they just dress up casually like that. What’s up with dog leashes and “Free hugs”-signs? Oh, silly kids. Luckily I was allowed to just sit behind a table most of the time, I liked it <3

Here, have my sucky attempt at trying to create a Nanibird. The paper is too thin and wrong colour and I didn’t have the right kind of glue, so he’s kinda retarted looking at the moment. J promised to bring better paper, so I’ll try again, hopefully with better results.

Argh, I kinda hate Wordpress at the moment. I tried upgrading to version 2.8.1. but it just broke my dashboard and my theme stopped working, so I installed 2.7.1. and then upgraded again…it works now but for some reason my dashboard still asks me to upgrade to 2.8.1. and upgrade my plugins, although I’ve done it all >_> Oh well, at least my site works again.

Tomorrow it’s Animecon, I shall be at Kupoli’s mangafleamarket and bringing a mascot along. Come to say hi to me and Meital if you feel like it :3

I had some energy to sit down and actually color something. I’ve thought of giving Morri a longer wig and Monroe piercing – she should be getting at least the wig soon when my Leeke order gets back from France >_> Maybe pink strands on her hair as well?

Edit: Yes, I’m well aware that she surely doesn’t wear lots of clothing ;3
