Okay, I think I mentioned somewhere that there will be a new family member soon, and I had some yarn scraps…here’s hoping this will fit! It’s Lati Yellow-sized ;3

Eeep, lately this hobby has felt almost like work; I’ve sold stuff and arranged group orders, so it has taken a while to just go through PMs and put things in order. Luckily all has went smoothly but there is always some minor hassle. Oh well, I’ve sorted almost everything and emptied my PM box (it went from 10% to 61% in just few days, how crazy).

Mirwaise is getting ready, here’s a shot of him with new eyelashes and eyes. I must say that I really love those Chinese glass eyes in bright colours, they catch light really well! He’s wearing indigo glass eyes in 12mm (from Pupapa), and I really like how they look like <3

I was also a good girl and re-strung uncle K and added some silicone to his joints here and there. Now he’s able to stand again \o/

p.s. I do not understand why people mark their monthlies “Soom LIMITED EDITION MONTHLY DOLL thisandthat”. It feels like showing off, because all of ‘em are limited anyway but they’re not really that special – you can get them through fairly long ordering period, they are not limited in quantity and Soom offers a nifty layaway anyway. I paid the standard price of SD-sized doll for Mirwaise because we did a split, he’s a special doll for me but I’m not expecting that everyone bows to me because I have one of TEH MONTHRIES. He’s just a great and beloved doll, that’s all. (And I call him “Soom Supergem Heliot” )

Please excuse everything that is half-assed in these photos, I just quickly assembled her somewhat together and hmmm, her eyes are wonky – actually her whole face is Anyway, Morrigan aka Morri after 5 months of waiting \o/

Supergem pants

I made a quick pair of pants for Mirkku, no pockets, nothing fancy, just something to cover his nekkidness. I dislike making pants for some reason, but girl’s gotta do what girl’s gotta do. I consider this an achievement because Supergem boys have, uh, interesting private parts which make fitting the crotch area quite the challenge ;D

He’s getting light-blue 12mm glass eyes from Pupapa.com soon.

And almost exactly five months later, my Customhouse order is shipped \o/ Cebee is finally coming home, and I’m excited. I managed to get a faceup slot from Nolluska who is one of my favourite faceuppers here in Finland; Morri needs a strong faceup with thick black eyebrows and dark-red lips, I could never do that on my own. I can do light and natural somehow but nothing that involves black pastels.

Time to stalk our postal service’s tracking page like mad!

Edited to add: there has been a huge debate at our forum over stuffs and liquids that are safe to use on resin – so I was very amused as I read my Supergem owner manual from Soom and they suggested lacquer thinner or just acetone to remove staining ^^; Yeah, magic erasers are for wussies, hardcore users use thinner! Isn’t that the stuff that people even inhale to get high? (Finns, I think they mean “tinneri”)

Yep, I got my Heliot home :3 I have mixed feelings about him, good thoughts and bad thoughts.

So I accidentally ’stole’ Illves’ little kitty with me ^_^; I told her that it’s okay, I can carry one of your tinies to a meetup (she had two of her big Soom dollies so the space was limied), I did and forgot to unpack afterwards. So Nanette will be visiting for a while. Mr. Paw is thrilled, he loves cute girl kitties ;3
