Even though the photo itself didn’t turn as I hoped, Meital is always the prettiest girl (and my secret favourite, but hushhh) <3 What I love about her character is that it’s not only her appearance which makes her beautiful – it’s because she has a child’s heart. She is a warm mirror which sees only the good in everyone. Stupid and naive? You bet your life. But in her world there really is nothing evil or cruel. Only kittens, lots of fluffy kittens.

Let’s start off with my favourite demon character (not that I have many…), Kaamos. This is how he looks these days, grumpy, wrinkly and quite pretty still.

“What are you bawling about?” Kaamos finally asked, irritated. Meital had entered his room and collapsed on his feet in a little, trembling ball. “Didn’t you tell me you never wish to see me again?” he had to add, even if he tried to smoothe the worst edge of his voice. Something in Meital’s shaking showed that something was terribly wrong.

So I tried RPing with my doll characters and got hooked right away -_- Thanks and goodbye, any spare time I might otherwise have. But (like everyone else, hehe!) I’ve been having quite an inspiration since then! I have plenty of story and art inspiration, especially for Meital and Kaamos. Their relationship might even move…somewhere. Hopefully forward. And Meital’s character has got lots more depth lately. It’s funny – she’s almost a Mary Sue, you know, beautiful and calm and such. Still she has never annoyed me at all. She’s just…herself. Loveable. She might be my favourite doll characterwise along with Aegis :3

I also changed Huurre’s headmold. He shall be a Dreaming Lishe – and a boy, of course. We’ll see how he shall turn out. I’m trying to make him a soft-faced boy with a foul mouth and an attitude. There is also an interesting twist to his background.

No other big news. I’m going to visit Tallinn on Saturday, let’s see if I can find any nifty doll props from there!

So I drew today. Above is young Kaamos when his name was still Hrafn. Hrafn is Old Norse and means “raven” by the way, it’s not just something I coughed up.

“Hello there, Huurre, wasn’t it?”

Huurre stared at Meital with his mouth gaping open. He had been really surprised when someone actually had knocked on his master’s entrance door. Kaamos was a hermit who very rarely had visitors – and now that angel girl stood on his doorstone. Huurre had no idea if he should just slam the door on her face, alert Kaamos or let her in. When he weighted one plan against the other, Meital tiptoed in.
“I take that your master is at home?” she asked.
“Uh, guess so,” Huurre answered, puzzled. Meital nodded and disappeared in the darkness, humming a little song as she went. Huurre could just stare at her bottom with hatred and lust in his orange brown eyes. Meital made him feel so confused, always.
